A-136 Distortion / Waveshaper

Doepfer's distortion and waveshaper: the input is split into its positive part, its negative part and the original signal, each set by its own gain, and mixed again at the output.

Key features

• Three signal paths mixed at the output with positive or negative gain: +A, -A and A
• The positive and negative parts are clipped at their own levels, +L and -L
• Both clipping levels can be voltage controlled through the two Ext.Level inputs
• From hard or soft clipping to waveforms where the input can no longer be recognised
• Works on audio and on control voltages (LFO, ADSR, random)
