Description

Doepfer's Janus mixer, in 6 HP: four channels, each with a linear level control and a switch that inverts, mutes or passes its input, and two kinds of single outputs besides the doubled mix output.

Key features

  • Four inputs, each with a linear Lev. control (gain 0 to 1)
  • A three-position switch per channel: inverted, off or on
  • Single Out A 1 to 4: a cable plugged in takes the channel out of the mix
  • Single Out B 1 and 2: the channel without leaving the mix
  • Mix Out on two sockets wired together
  • DC coupled, for audio and control voltages alike; each channel also works alone as an attenuator or inverter
  • Channel 1 can be made a DC offset source by a solder bridge, open ex works
