A-142-2 Dual Envelope Controlled VCA

Doepfer's dual envelope controlled VCA: two units, each an envelope generator wired to its own VCA, mainly for percussive sounds.

Key features

• Attack and Decay/Release controls, times from about 1 ms to 30 s; a mode switch for AD, ADSR or AR (in ADSR, decay equals release and the sustain level is fixed, 50 % from the factory)
• Each envelope drives its own VCA: VCA In, VCA Out and an Audio Input Level control
• CVT input with its level control sets the times by voltage (attack, decay/release or both, by internal jumpers)
• CV Duck. input mutes the VCA by a control voltage, fully above about +5 V
• Gate input (+5 to +12 V) and a Man. Gate push button for each unit; an LED shows each envelope
