A-168-1 PWM Generator

Doepfer's PWM generator in 4 HP: a summing unit and two comparators that turn any rising and falling signal (a triangle, a sawtooth, a sine, an envelope, a random voltage) into a rectangle whose pulse width is set and modulated.

Key features

• PW sets the pulse width by hand, PWM attenuates the modulation at CV
• Out and the inverted /Out, each with a red lamp
• Gives pulse width modulation to LFOs and VCOs without it (A-110-4, A-145, A-147-2, A-143-4, A-143-9)
• Works as a voltage comparator, taking many tasks of the A-167
