A-170 Dual Slew Limiter

Doepfer's two slew limiters in 8 HP: they smooth the steps of a voltage into glides, the second with separate rise and fall times.

Key features

• Unit 1: one Time control for the rise and fall together, from 0 to about 10 s
• Unit 2: separate controls for the rising and the falling edges, usable as a simple AR envelope
• Time Range switch (H, M, L) for unit 2
• Two LEDs per unit show the falling (–) and rising (+) edges
• Works on control voltages and audio alike (portamento, envelope-like smoothing, low-pass effects)
