A-179-2 Light Controlled CV / Gate

Doepfer's light controlled CV and gate source in 4 HP: a light dependent resistor turns brightness into a control voltage, in both directions, and a gate at an adjustable threshold.

Key features

• Sensor in the face, or a remote sensor (supplied, on a 2 m patch cable) at ext.Sens., which turns the internal one off
• CV Offset sets the voltage for a given light, CV Level the sensitivity
• CV Out + rises with the light, CV Out - falls; a red / yellow lamp shows them
• Gate Threshold sets where the gate goes high; Gate Out with its lamp
• Played by shading the sensor with a hand, or with a torch
