A-188-9 HVCO

Doepfer's high speed VCO: an audio VCO followed by a PLL that multiplies its frequency by 32, tracking octaves from about 15 kHz to 500 kHz, made to clock the BBD modules (A-188-1/2) for Karplus-Strong synthesis, and usable as an extra audio VCO too.

Key features

• Frq coarse control, Fine control, CV input with its attenuator and a 1V/oct input
• Pulse (with PW), saw and triangle outputs of the audio VCO, and the high speed square output
• Range switch: audio VCO mode, or high speed mode with both running at once
• Slew switch (medium, fast, slow): how fast the PLL follows the VCO
