Bass|Drum

An analogue bass drum and bass voice in 14 HP, drawn from the KICK and DRUM channels of Vermona's DRM1: a tuned oscillator with a falling pitch envelope, a waveshaper from triangle through sine to square, and a decay envelope, each under voltage control.

Key features

• PITCH with a HI/LO range (16 Hz to 130 Hz, or 64 Hz to over 2 kHz), played in tune from 1V/OCT
• BEND and TIME set the pitch envelope's depth and length, ATTACK adds a click to the onset
• WAVE sweeps the oscillator from triangle to sine to square, and on into distortion under CV
• DECAY up to about 5 seconds; GATE/ON lets the gate's length hold the sound
• CV inputs for DECAY, PITCH and WAVE with their attenuators; DYNAMIC sets each hit's strength
• MANUAL fires the sound by hand and lights on every trigger
