Description

Behringer's reproduction of the Bode 1630 frequency shifter in Eurorack: it shifts the whole frequency spectrum of a signal by a fixed amount or one set by control voltages, OUT A shifted up while OUT B is shifted down, and a mix of the two.

Key features

  • AMOUNT OF SHIFT, its range set by SCALE: 0 (no shift), EXP (+2 Hz to +2 kHz, 1 V/octave), or ±5, ±50, ±500 Hz or ±5 kHz linear
  • Three CTRL inputs summed with AMOUNT OF SHIFT
  • OUT A shifted, OUT B shifted the other way, MIX OUT their blend set by MIXTURE, each on two parallel jacks
  • SQUELCH THRESHOLD, 0 to -60 dBu, against the carrier's bleed-through, its LED lit while it acts
  • ZERO ADJUST, its LED blinking slower as the shift nears zero
  • Input signals from 30 Hz to 16 kHz, up to +12 dBu
  • 14 HP, 110 mA on +12 V and on -12 V
