Behringer's vector oscillator in 14 HP, its engine after the Prophet VS: four wavetable oscillators, A to D, from 128 waveforms, the joystick morphing between them, its X and Y also at X OUT and Y OUT to control other modules. X IN and Y IN take over its axes, their depths set with XMOD and YMOD. FREQ tunes it within the range the FREQ button sets, V/OCT tracks the pitch, FM adds the modulation at FM IN, either way round, and GATE IN fires the mix envelope; MIX OUT gives the four oscillators mixed. The OLED shows the waveform, the presets and the parameters, the six LEDs the page being edited, and DATA scrolls through the 32 presets.
