Black Quad VCA

Four logarithmic VCAs with pre-emphasis and de-emphasis circuits, an automatic mixing of their outputs and configurable CV addressing, in 10 HP from Erica Synths' Black Series, retired.

Key features

• LEVEL 1 to 4 set each channel's CV level; with no CV each VCA opens by hand, from noon fully clockwise, and the module is a mixer
• An output left unpatched mixes into the next one's: OUT4 alone gives the sum of all four, OUT2 and OUT4 two sums
• Jumpers on the back normal CV2, CV3 and CV4 each to the CV on its left (independent as delivered); CV1 always on its own
• CV -10 V to +10 V, -80 dB at 0 V, unity at +10 V
• +62 mA, -60 mA, 25 mm deep
