Black Wavetable VCO

A wavetable VCO with 16 wavetables of 16 waves, wave morphing, a bitcrusher, a built-in VCA and a suboscillator, in 12 HP from Erica Synths' Black Series, retired.

Key features

• FREQUENCY over 10 octaves (COARSE) or +-2 semitones (FINE); 1V/OCT quantized, 30 Hz to 5 kHz
• BANK selects the wavetable, its four lamps showing it in binary; extra ROM chips add tables
• WAVE moves through the waves of the table, WAVE CV sets its CV input's level
• BITCHRUSH (so printed), none fully counter-clockwise to maximum fully clockwise
• CV IN, set from the BANK button to bitcrush (by default), bank surf, FM or the VCA, its level by CV LEVEL
• SUB: three suboscillator waves, -1 octave, -2 octaves in the main wave, or -1 octave from a transistor suboscillator (the Varishape VCO's); SUB OUT and OUT, -5 V to +5 V
• +48 mA, -12 mA, 25 mm deep
