The Buchla 100 series' dual voltage controlled gate (1960s), drawn in its San Francisco Tape Music Center panel: "two voltage controlled amplifiers generally used in conjunction with a Model 180 attack generator to control the envelope of applied signals" (the 100 series catalogue). Each has two outputs, a signal input with its SIGNAL LEVEL knob and a control voltage input.
