Buchla's 208C Stored Program Sound Source, the heart of the Easel Command as a 200e series module four panel units wide: a whole voice behind one panel.

Key features

  • A complex oscillator with its waveshape and timbre, frequency or amplitude modulated by the modulation oscillator
  • A dual lo pass gate, its gate 2 fed by the preamp, the modulation oscillator or gate 1
  • An envelope generator, a pulser, a five-stage sequential voltage source and a random voltage
  • A preamp and envelope detector, an inverter, the mix with its reverberation, and the program card interface
  • Banana jacks for control voltages and pulses, Tini-Jax for audio
