Description

Buchla's 250e Dual Arbitrary Function Generator, a 200e series module: sixteen stages, each storing two control voltages and a time, played in turn, looped, or chosen by a voltage.

Key features

  • Sixteen stages, each with its voltage knob, its time knob and two programmable voltages
  • Per stage: time range (or MIDI clock), voltage range, quantize and interpolation
  • Stage modes pulse, advance, sustain, enable and stop; jump and loop with nested loop counters
  • External inputs A to D in place of a stage's voltage or time, held by fix
  • Pulse outputs all, 1 and 2; stage addressing by a voltage, continuous or strobed
  • Remote enable, stage addressing and fix kept in the patch
