Description
A stereo delay and reverb built for live performance: sixteen delay lines with inline filtering and several feedback routings, designed by Nick Donaldson of Infrasonic Audio and developed with WMD. On WMD's site since August 2025.
Key features
- SPRAY morphs the delay lines' lengths in real time, from rhythmic echoes to dense reverb; SCATTER reshapes their feedback paths
- Three modes set how SPRAY spreads the lines: BLUR (all but the first shorten), RATIO (lengths in musical ratios) and WARP; TIME slews, so a turned knob keeps sweeping on its own
- Performance buttons: BLAST (a burst into the input), FREEZE (a timeless loop), KILL!, TAP tempo or clock input, SNAPSHOT to save and recall a state
- Band-pass FILTER (CENTER, WIDTH), MOD (rate, shape, spread), FEEDBACK with its shift function ANOMALY, MIX or send/return level
- Stereo in and out, CV for every main control; 24 bit / 48 kHz, 1.5 ms throughput latency
