Complex Oscillator
Panel · 132.1 × 128.5 mm
Description
Instruō's complex oscillator in 26 HP: two contrasting discrete analogue cores, a sawtooth core (A) and a triangle core (B), normalled to one another for cross modulation, far beyond subtractive synthesis. Each has a wavefolder with symmetry bias, its own pulse width modulation and sync; a four-quadrant multiplier rings, modulates or rectifies them, and a global Index bus sends each oscillator's sine to up to four destinations on the other, set from the panel without a cable.
Key features
- Two analogue oscillators, sawtooth core and triangle core, all waveforms at once
- A wavefolder per oscillator with symmetry bias and CV
- Linear or exponential FM, cross-normalled sines
- Four-quadrant multiplier: ring modulation, half and full wave rectification
- Hard and soft sync, internal sync either way
- Index bus with digitally set internal modulation routing
- 1V/Oct link, LFO mode, sub-octave square
