Description

David Dixon's octature filter in 14 HP: a resonant 4-pole low-pass filter with eight outputs, two per pole at 45° steps, that self-oscillates into an eight-phase sine VCO or LFO.

Key features

  • 1-pole to 4-pole low-pass outputs, each in two phases (45° to 360°), each with its lamp
  • Q with QUAD or MONO response, under CV
  • CUTOFF, FINE, FM1 and bipolar FM2, 1V/OCT tracking
  • Self-oscillates as a VCO (17 Hz to 22 kHz) or an LFO (59 s to 300 Hz)
  • Input level with a CLIP lamp
