Description
XAOC Devices' first Drezno (Legacy), a 12 HP 8-bit analog to digital and digital to analog converter, the front-end of the Leibniz Binary Subsystem: a signal turned into eight gate bits and eight gate bits turned back into a voltage, linked through the Leibniz expanders or patched apart.
Key features
- ADC: ADC INPUT through lit GAIN and OFFSET sliders, sampled near 2 MHz or at ADC CLOCK; eight BIT OUTPUTS and the ADC ACTIVITY MAP
- DAC: eight BIT INPUTS, DAC CLOCK, lit GAIN and OFFSET sliders, DAC OUTPUT
- LINK: the ADC bits normalled to the DAC inputs, through any Leibniz expander such as Lipsk
- Bit reduction, bit crushing, trigger patterns and waveshaping by cross-patching the bits
