Dysphonia

Dreadbox's 42 HP semi-modular DIY voice, "patching heaven": an analog oscillator, three VCAs, a multiple, a mixer, a MIDI to CV converter, a digital modulator, an envelope, an LFO, a 24 dB low pass, a 12 dB multimode filter and the Erebus echo, every section on jacks.

Key features

• OSCILLATOR: SAW, SQU, TRI and NOISE out (+/-5 V), two 1V/oct CV inputs, PW, TUNE slider and FINE
• Three VCAs (one exponential with two mixed inputs, two linear with INIT) and a passive MULTI (one in, three out)
• MIXER: three inputs with their levels, LVL from inverted to positive
• MIDI (TRS type A) to CV and G, SET learns the channel and is the shift button
• MOD: LFO, sample and hold, envelope or MIDI CC, chosen by TYPE, with LVL and RATE
• ENV (FALL, RISE with SET) and a triangle LFO from 30 s to 1 kHz, each with LVL
