Echophon

The Echophon is a pitch-shifting echo, designed with Tom Erbe of Soundhack: a digital delay line whose echoes are shifted in pitch as they repeat. ECHO sets the echo time from 7 ms to 1.7 s, or a division or multiple of a clock patched to TEMPO, with a clock output; PITCH shifts the echoes down or up, DEPTH sets how far, both under voltage control; FEEDBACK, bipolar, sets how the echoes return, and an external feedback loop can be patched through its send and return. FREEZE, by button or gate, holds the sound in the echo chamber, and MIX blends the dry and processed signal.
