Description
Hexinverter's analogue bass drum, made by Erica Synths: a TR-909-inspired kick with voltage-controlled distortion and a square-wave sub-oscillator.
Key features
- Analogue VCO core, sine or square, PITCH from about 30 Hz to 240 Hz under voltage control
- PITCH DECAY envelope with AMOUNT, from short blips to tom-like sweeps
- Voltage-controlled AMP DECAY, from short punchy kicks to booms over 20 seconds
- CLICK generator for the attack, and an accent input
- Square-wave sub-oscillator 0, -1 or -2 octaves down, its level under voltage control
- OUTPUT DRIVE from warm to overdriven, with a clipping lamp; 50 mA on +12 V and -12 V, 30 mm deep
