Mutant Hot Glue

Hexinverter's analogue bus mixer, made by Erica Synths: four channels with an effects send and return, a voltage-controlled distortion and a soft-knee compressor to glue a drum mix together.

Key features

• Four input channels, each with its LEVEL and effects SEND; channel B takes two inputs, C+D has its own output
• Channel A has a dedicated output and a switch sending it to the COMP output instead of the mix, for sidechain compression
• Analogue compressor with THRESHOLD, RATIO, up to +40 dB of make-up GAIN, a dry/wet BLEND and a SIDECHAIN input
• Voltage-controlled analogue distortion with BLEND, normalised to the SEND and RETURN jacks
• The mix output normalised to the compressor's input; a lamp shows the gain reduction
• 24 HP, 30 mm deep, 70 mA on +12 V and -12 V
