Mutant Snare

Hexinverter's analogue snare, made by Erica Synths: 808-style bridged-T shell oscillators with a noise SNAPPY section through a high-pass or band-pass filter.

Key features

• Two analogue bridged-T sine oscillators for the shell; SHELL TONE blends them, SHELL PITCH tunes one
• SNAPPY adds analogue white noise, or any sound patched into EXT IN, with voltage-controlled decay
• Selectable high-pass or band-pass filter (MODE) with voltage-controlled cutoff
• Three resonance settings: classic 808, high resonance and self-oscillation (RES)
• DRIVE, a SHELL/SNAPPY MIX, and attenuverters on both CV inputs
• 62 mA on +12 V, 57 mA on -12 V, 20 mm deep
