Description

The 2 HP output expander for Michigan Synth Works' F8R and XVI fader banks (firmware 2.1), joined to them by a ribbon cable: a USB-C port for USB MIDI and the web editor, a TRS MIDI out and four buffered I2C ports.

Key features

  • USB-C: class-compliant USB MIDI out and configuration through the web editor (data only, no power)
  • TRS MIDI out (type A), its CC numbers set in the web editor apart from the USB ones
  • Four buffered I2C ports (tip SDA, ring SCL), each with a header on the back
  • A status LED: red at start-up, green when ready, orange while a fader moves
  • In a silver or a black panel
