Description

A 6 HP stereo and dynamics processor (discontinued): two analog VCAs driven by a modulation source that a trigger extractor sets off on any audio or CV signal, for decays and gates on amplitude, auto accentuation, sidechain pumping, auto panning and more.

Key features

  • Two low noise, low distortion THAT VCAs; audio and external inputs DC coupled, so it processes modulations too
  • Trigger extractor: a full wave rectifier, an envelope follower and a trigger detector, its THRSD knob and LED; fed by the sum of the inputs or the EXT input
  • Four modes: LFO Pan, Random Pan, Expander and Pump; four alternative modes (MODE held 2 s): Hold Expander, Animated Pump, Auto Pan and Granuliser; a VCA mode (MODE held 4 s) for level and panning by hand
  • TIME and DEPTH, with their CV inputs (0 to 5 V); TIME+ for slower, smoother modulations
  • ASSIGN: shared controls, two channels, or channel 1 or 2 alone, each channel in its own mode
  • Reacts to triggers or gates (TIME+ held at power on); stores its modes, TIME+ and assignment (TIME+ held 2 s)
