Griffin's Claws
Quad attenuator recorder
Panel · 61 × 128.5 mm
Description
Four recordable attenuators in 12 HP: each channel's fader sets its attenuation, and holding its button records the fader's movements, played back in a loop until erased. Each channel's input is normalled to an offset, so with nothing patched the channel is a recorded CV source; the outputs mix in cascade.
Key features
- Four channels with faders and lit caps, recording up to 32 bars, or 80 seconds in Free mode, per channel
- Three sync modes: Free, Clocked or Quantized on CLOCK, with RESET marking the first beat
- Per channel: offset normalization 0 V (logarithmic), 5 V or 10 V (linear), playback rate and loop amplitude
- Direct mode: the fader acts at once, the recording bypassed
- Sample & Hold per channel, GATE 1 and GATE 4 outputs on end of cycle or on the fader's movements
- Cascade mixing of the outputs, 16 presets in four banks, Select Bus
