Instruō's external input module in 8 HP: a transformer and op-amp preamp for microphones and a FET preamp for instruments and line sources, through one XLR/TS combo socket, with 48 V phantom power, a -20 dB pad and an 80 Hz high pass, a GAIN with its VU meter and a LEVEL. An envelope follower with ATTACK and RELEASE and a comparator with its THRESH turn the incoming audio into an envelope and a gate.
