Binary transfunctioner
Panel · 40.6 × 128.5 mm
Description
A digital member of the Leibniz Binary Subsystem in 8 HP: the 8-bit data arriving on its ribbon is mapped through a transfer function chosen from 15 banks of 256, as a waveshaper, a wavetable oscillator with through-zero phase modulation, a Walsh function generator or a drum pattern generator, its result at eight bit outputs and on to the next Leibniz module.
Key features
- A 1+3 digit display, the bank and the shape set by an endless encoder, each with its CV input (-5 V to +10 V)
- Banks 0 to 9 and a: wavetables; b and c: CV warping; d: Walsh functions; e: 256 drum patterns on the bit outputs
- Asynchronous (waveshaper) or synchronous (oscillator) regime, its lamp, external or internal clock, a filter mode (fil)
- PHASE with its CV (±5 V, four cycles), LINK to pass the transformed data on, eight bit outputs with their lamps
