Lipsk II
Bit inversion expander
Panel · 30.5 × 128.5 mm
Description
A 6 HP expander of XAOC's Leibniz Binary Subsystem that inverts the individual bits of the 8-bit data it receives (from Drezno II or another Leibniz module, through its ribbon headers) and passes the result on. Each bit is flipped by its lit button or by a gate at its input.
Key features
- Eight latching buttons, one per bit (7 to 0), lit while their bit is inverted
- Eight gate inputs: a 5 V gate flips its bit, and flips it back if its button already inverts it
- Hardware logic, no latency: the bits can be manipulated at audio rate and beyond
- Leibniz data in and out headers at the back
- Lipsk II: the panel of the original Lipsk turned upside down to match the other Leibniz modules
