Neuron / Difference Rectifier
Analogue neuron and difference rectifier
Panel · 40.6 × 128.5 mm
Description
Two circuits. The Neuron, a variation on a typical analogue neuron circuit from a paper on neural computing: three inputs summed into one output, its SENSE and RESPONSE knobs setting when it reacts to incoming signals and how much; a complex audio waveshaper, gate or pulse generator, or CV shaper. The Difference Rectifier, a difference amplifier and a rectifier merged: two + and two − inputs, and two outputs.
Key features
- Neuron: three in, one out; SENSE and RESPONSE
- Difference Rectifier: in+ twice, in− twice, out+ and out−
- 8 HP; Nonlinearcircuits publishes no current draw, depth or assembled price (it sells the DIY PCB and panel), and ModularGrid lists none
