Path Filter
N-path filter, between filter, phaser and shift register
Panel · 40.6 × 128.5 mm
Description
Between a filter, a phaser and a crude BBD shift register, after Elektor's 1975 article on path-filter phasing and Siliconix's 1976 chapter on N-path filters: sixteen capacitor and switch stages, buffered, run by a clock, usually a high-frequency one, best modulated. The clock divided by 4, 8 and 16 comes out on the panel, /16 feeding IN 1's switch. Q RANGE, Q and Q CV drive a vactrol; IN 2's switch and an attenuverter give feedback.
Key features
