qMI

The first edition of Vermona's quad MIDI interface (2011), in 24 HP: four CV/Gate channels, each answering its own MIDI channel or joined to the others for unison, voice rotation or four-voice polyphony, with MIDI clock on four outputs at fixed divisions. Succeeded by the qMI 2.

Key features

• Per channel: GATE (+10 V), 1V/OCT (0 to +5 V, five octaves), CV 1 and CV 2 from MIDI controllers (mod wheel, aftertouch, velocity, volume or pitch bend)
• PLAYMODE: M1 (parallel), M2 (voice rotation) or POLY (up to four voices)
• MIDI clock at 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 and 1/8 T, doubled on demand; RESET follows start and stop
• Legato per channel and the lowest note set in the edit menu, kept when switched off
