René

René is a Cartesian sequencer: sixteen knobs set the voltages of a four by four grid, and three channels, X (red), Y (green) and the Cartesian C (orange), move through it along their own axes, each with its clock, modifier and CV inputs and its CV and gate outputs. The capacitive touch pads beside the grid program each location's access, gate, glide, snake pattern and functions, store and recall states, and quantize the outputs to scales; the knobs light in the colour of the channel playing them.
