Sampling Modulator

A multi-function module in 8 HP that lies somewhere between a VCO, a sample and hold and an 8-step trigger sequencer, all driven by the same internal clock.

Key features

• Sequencer-clocked sample and hold, analogue down-sampling effect, sampling modulator and shaper
• 8-step trigger sequencer: one switch per step, up On, middle Off, down Reset to the first step
• Temperature-compensated ramp-core VCO, over four octaves of V/Oct tracking, with coarse RATE and FINE
• INT / EXT switch between the internal and an external clock; the clock input also works as hard sync
• HOLD input keeps the current sample while the module goes on tracking the waveform
• Clock and trigger outputs; the trigger output also works as a pulse VCO
