Solenoid

A quad solenoid driver in 5 HP from Bastl's first Eurorack line: it fires four solenoids from four triggers, from their own power supply, its motor circuitry optically isolated from the modular.

Key features

• Four channels, A to D, each a TRIGGER IN and a 2.1 mm output socket, its lamp showing the drive
• OUTPUT PULSE WIDTH knob: how long each solenoid is driven, its strike's strength
• Motors held off at least half the time, against overheating
• External power on POWER IN (12 to 24 V DC, centre positive)
• Expander socket for the Solenoid Expander's CV control of each pulse width
