Through-zero FM analog oscillator

ALM Busy Circuits · 12 HP · 3U

Panel · 61 × 128.5 mm

Description

A 12 HP analog triangle core oscillator with through-zero FM: a continuous Shape from sine (or triangle) through saw to a pulse of 10 to 90 %, through its own output VCA (Level); direct Sine, Saw, Sub-1 and Sub-2 outputs; a voltage controlled FM Index, an octave transpose input (0, +1, +2 octaves), hard sync and an LFO mode.

Key features

  • Coarse (about 7 octaves) and fine (about 1 octave) frequency, V/Oct over about 8 octaves
  • Through-zero FM through an internal VCA: Index with its CV input and attenuator
  • Shape morphing sine or triangle, saw, pulse, with CV and attenuator; Level, the Shape output's VCA, with CV
  • Sub-1 (50 %) and Sub-2 (50 or 75 %, side switch), Oct and Sync inputs; LFO mode (about 0.1 to 30 Hz) with bipolar lamps
