Teleplexer
Telegraph-style multiplexer with 14 touch plates
Panel · 40.6 × 128.5 mm
Description
The Teleplexer is a telegraph-style multiplexer: source cables patched from anywhere in the system are left hanging, and touching their tips to its 14 metal plates routes them, for as long as the touch lasts, to one, two or all three outputs, non-inverted or inverted. It plays modulation, timbral shifts and signal jumbling by hand, like a telegraph operator.
Key features
- 14 plates covering every routing to the three outputs, non-inverted and inverted
- Three direct-coupled outputs, each able to drive several destinations
- An Aux input per channel, added continuously to its output
- Each output's number lights green for a positive signal and red for a negative one, brighter for a stronger signal
- Retired
