Crash and ride
Panel · 40.6 × 128.5 mm
Description
Roland's TR-909 crash and ride cymbals, two voices in one module, their sampled sounds played at an analog, voltage-controlled rate, for Eurorack.
Key features
- Two voices: CRASH on the left, RIDE on the right, each with its GATE input and its OUT
- The 909's own controls: LEVEL and ACCENT on each voice, an ACCENT knob per voice where the 909 had one for all its sounds
- TUNE and VC - TUNE: an analog VCO sets each sample's playback rate, by hand or by CV
- ACCENT IN takes a gate or a CV; unpatched, the GATE input drives the accent too
- A pulse shaper on each GATE input, for triggers and gates of any length
