Description
Tiptop Audio's Triax8, an eight-voice analog polyphonic oscillator of the ART series: two triangle-core VCOs per voice, sixteen in all, in 40 HP.
Key features
- Sixteen analog VCOs, two per voice, ten waveforms with a level knob each, XOR on VCO 2, a sub-oscillator on VCO 1
- Through-zero linear FM from VCO 1 to VCO 2 that stays in tune, with its FM SOURCE selector
- Hard and soft sync between the two VCOs, both ways
- ART note control with a built-in voice manager: POLY, UNI (sixteen VCOs on one note) or DUAL
- Eight individual audio and gate outs, MIX OUT and GATE MIX OUT, Polytip jacks for polyphonic levels, FM and velocity
- Built-in tuning that learns its case; hold the velocity button to retune
