XAOC Devices · 6 HP · 3U

Panel · 30.5 × 128.5 mm

Description

A 6 HP four-step voltage source: a step sequencer, a modulation source, a bank of four voltages or an arpeggiator, alone or chained with more Tiranas. An external clock (up to 320 Hz) plays the steps in a loop, each step's voltage set by its knob, 0 to 10 V by default. Each step's button mutes its gate, the voltage staying in place. Held, a button opens its step's DIV·MLT menu: the step repeated up to four times (up to 16 steps in the sequence) or ratcheted, its gate fired 2, 3 or 4 times within the step. Triggers turn the sequence round (DIRECTN) or send it back to step 1 (RESET), a voltage transposes it (TRANSP).

Key features

  • Four steps, a knob and a gate mute button each
  • Per step, repeats (x2 to x4) or ratchets (2 to 4 gates)
  • DIRECTN, RESET and TRANSP inputs; GATE OUT and CV OUT
  • Clock divided by 2, 3 or 4, gate or trigger output, all kept through a power cycle
  • Jumpers at the back: unipolar or bipolar, full or half range
