A phase-locked loop: frequency tracker, twelve divisions to 1/4096, roulette and clock divider
Panel · 71.1 × 128.5 mm
Description
Three modules in one, or four. Into TRACK, the phase-locked loop is a frequency tracker: VCO RANGE CV and the FILTER knob decide how well, or rather how poorly, it tracks, and twelve outputs divide the tracked signal, down to divide by 4096. Into ROULETTE, it makes semi-random selections of outputs while the input is high, or, driven otherwise, it is a burst generator whose burst frequency the VCO CV sets. Into DIVIDE, it is a twelve-stage clock divider down to 1/4096, and the PLL tracker section is then an independent VCO (VCO OUT, RANGE) for squelchy, glitchy noises, or a tracker again. The panel names its twelve outputs with numbers.
