Description

Doepfer's opto-FET filter: six serial 6 dB stages whose frequency is set by opto FETs, faster than vactrols, fast enough for quick envelopes and even FM. Each stage is set by jumpers as low pass, high pass or one of two all pass types, so the module is a filter or a phaser.

Key features

  • Six 6 dB stages, as low pass, high pass, all pass (L) or all pass (H), chosen by jumpers; the circles on the panel mark the setting
  • Frequency set by hand (Frequ.) and by a CV input with its attenuator
  • Feedback (Feedb.) up to self-oscillation; FB Out and FB In let an external path replace the internal feedback
  • Mix pans between the original and the filtered signal: full effect for the filters, phasing at its centre in the all pass modes
  • The LED shows the brightness of the LEDs inside the opto FETs
