Description

Doepfer's subharmonic generator: four sawtooth subharmonics divided from one master pulse, the sound generation core of Oskar Sala's Mixtur-Trautonium.

Key features

  • Four frequency dividers on a common rectangle input (In), each dividing the master frequency by an integer from 1 to 24
  • Each divisor set with its Up / Down buttons and shown on its own two-digit LED display
  • Four single sawtooth outputs, and a Mix Out whose blend is set by the four Level controls
  • A mixture is the set of four divisors; 4 mixtures form a preset, and 50 presets are stored in the module (Preset, Store)
  • Two gate inputs (Foot Ctr. In 1 and 2) switch between the four mixtures of a preset
  • Needs a +5 V supply (100 mA) in addition to ±12 V
