Description

Doepfer's dual VCA in 4 HP, the slim version of the A-132-3: two identical voltage controlled amplifiers. Vintage Edition: black panel, black knobs.

Key features

  • Two identical VCAs, each with a manual Gain control and a CV input with attenuator
  • A switch per VCA chooses a linear or an exponential response; its middle position mutes the VCA
  • DC coupled inputs and outputs: audio and control voltages alike (the level of an LFO or an envelope, for instance)
  • Signal inputs take up to 16 Vpp (-8 V to +8 V) without distortion
  • Gain from 0 to 1, clipped at 1 whatever the control voltage
