A-132-4 Quad Exponential VCA

Doepfer's quad exponential VCA in 6 HP: four identical voltage controlled amplifiers with a sum output.

Key features

• Four VCAs with exponential control, each with two CV inputs (C1, C2), a signal input and an output
• C1 and signal inputs normalled from each unit to the next by internal jumpers (the arrows on the panel)
• Sum of the four outputs at the socket marked Σ; jumpers choose which outputs are added (unit 4 has no C2 socket for it)
• About 12 dB per volt: 0 V is about -60 dB, +5 V about 0 dB; range about -90 dB to +20 dB
• A trimmer adjusts the C1 scale of each unit for other CV ranges
