A-171-2 VCS

Doepfer's voltage controlled slew, a licensed copy of Ken Stone's VCS after the Serge VCS: a slew limiter, portamento or low pass gate, a triggered envelope, or with Cycle on an LFO or VCO up to a few kHz.

Key features

• Up and Down times by hand, each with a CV input and a polarizer, and an exp./lin. switch for its shape
• exp.CV input for both times at once, as a VCO or VCLFO control
• Trig input to start an envelope or retrigger; End output, high once the output has fallen
• Cycle switch: End fed back to Trig, from about 40 s periods to 2.5-3.5 kHz
• CV Up normalled to CV Down; a lamp shows the output
