BD99 Bass Drum
TR-909 bass drum with a true tune and tune CV
Panel · 50.8 × 128.5 mm
Description
The Concussor's TR-909 bass drum, in discrete analogue circuitry kept as close to the original as Analogue Solutions could. The 909's own tune knob really sets the pitch sweep, so it is SWEEP here, and a true TUNE is added, high enough for electronic toms and congas.
Key features
- SWEEP (the pitch envelope), TUNE, ATTACK (the click: a burst of filtered noise), DECAY and LEVEL
- CV input, 0 to 12 V, on the tune: an LFO sweeps it, an audio rate signal cross-modulates the drum
- TRIG input, 5 to 12 V: a trigger or a gate of 5 V at least, a taller pulse accents the hit
- ACC input, 0 to 12 V: once patched, its voltage sets the level of each hit
- TRIG LED; two outputs of the same sound, 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm; +/-12 V and +5 V, 10 HP
