Description

The Concussor's TR-808 snare, in discrete analogue circuitry kept as close to the original as Analogue Solutions could: two oscillators mixed with filtered noise. DECAY and HPF on the noise are added, for snares, noise hits and bongo or conga sounds.

  • TONE (the mix of the two oscillators), SNAPPY (the noise level), DECAY (the noise's), HPF (its cut-off) and LEVEL
  • NOISE output: the white noise behind SNAPPY, unprocessed
  • TRIG input, 5 to 12 V: a trigger or a gate of 5 V at least, a taller pulse accents the hit
  • ACC input, 0 to 12 V: once patched, its voltage sets the level of each hit
