Description

The Concussor's TR-909 snare, in discrete analogue circuitry kept as close to the original as Analogue Solutions could, with a high-pass filter on its noise the 909 never let you set.

Key features

  • TUNE (the two tone oscillators), TONE (the amount, hold and decay of the noise), HPF, SNAPPY (the noise level) and LEVEL; HPF set very high lets a little hiss through
  • CV input, 0 to 12 V, on the tune: an LFO sweeps it, an audio rate signal cross-modulates the drum
  • TRIG input, 5 to 12 V: a trigger or a gate of 5 V at least, a taller pulse accents the hit
  • ACC input, 0 to 12 V: once patched, its voltage sets the level of each hit
  • TRIG LED; two outputs of the same sound, 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm; +/-12 V, 10 HP
